The Monroe Moccasins compete in the Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey Conference, representing Monroe University with a fast-paced, aggressive forechecking style that electrifies their devoted student section at Lakefront Arena. Since their founding championship in 1987, the Moccasins have captured four conference titles and developed an intense crosstown rivalry with the Monroe State Wolves that consistently draws regional television coverage.
